Our story

Born from parents' frustration

It all started with a simple observation — and, let's be honest, a fair bit of exasperation. Like so many parents, we knew the back-to-school ritual all too well: racing through the shops, working down an endless list, and buying that backpack and pencil case that were supposed to last the whole year.

And yet, the same story played out every single time. Within a few months, the zip would break, the straps would fray, the bottom would wear through under the weight of the books. Everything had to be bought again halfway through the year. Frustrating, expensive — and environmentally absurd.

Creating what we couldn't find

So we decided to take matters into our own hands. The Student was born from one simple belief: children deserve school gear that holds up all year long — with no compromise on style or durability.

Hard-wearing Oxford fabric, reinforced stitching, ergonomics designed to protect growing backs: every detail was thought through by parents, for parents. Today, more than 2,500 families trust us. And our mission is exactly the same as it was on day one.
